Ordering and Process
Browse our services, choose the format you need, and complete checkout. You will receive a confirmation email with a secure upload link for your manuscript.
You get an order confirmation email with an upload link. Upload your manuscript. We receive it, review it, and begin work. Your 72-hour clock starts from when we receive your file, not when you pay.

File Formats
Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), Adobe PDF (standard, print-ready, or scanned), Adobe InDesign (.indd, .idml), Apple Pages (.pages), Open Office, LibreOffice, and HTML files. If your file is in another format, ask us.
Google Docs must be exported to Word first. File → Download → Microsoft Word (.docx). The export is clean and works well.
No. Send it as it is. If your formatting will affect the conversion, we will flag it and discuss your options before starting.
Yes — that is our Book Scanning and OCR service. We extract the text, proofread it against the original, and return a clean file ready for conversion.
Technical Questions
A person builds your eBook file in HTML and CSS by hand. No software converts it. This takes longer than automation and produces a smaller, cleaner file that passes platform validation and displays correctly across all devices.
Kindle (KPF) is Amazon’s format, used on all Kindle devices and the Kindle app. ePub is the open standard used by Apple Books, Kobo, Google Play Books, Barnes & Noble, and most non-Amazon platforms. They are separate files. If you are publishing on Amazon and other platforms, you need both. Our Kindle + ePub bundle converts your manuscript to both formats for $10 less than ordering separately.
EpubCheck is the validation tool used by every major platform to check ePub files before accepting them. We run every ePub through EpubCheck 5.0 and fix any errors before delivery. You receive a clean file.
Reflowable eBooks adjust to each reader’s chosen font size, screen size, and settings — this is by design. What we guarantee is that the text flows correctly, images display without distortion, and navigation works on every device.

No. The listed price includes the conversion, source files, and one revision pass. The only variables are rush delivery (50% surcharge) and volume discounts (15% off for three or more titles).
All major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfer for orders over $200.
If we cannot deliver a file meeting platform validation requirements for the format you ordered, we offer a full refund. Our refund rate is below one percent. If something is wrong with your file, we fix it — that is our preference over a refund.
Quality and Revisions
Contact us with the specific issue. One revision pass is included with every order. Platform rejections caused by our conversion are corrected at no charge.
Send us the rejection notice. We identify the error in the code and fix it. This is included.
Source files are the HTML and CSS files we used to build your eBook. You own them. You can make your own edits, pass them to a developer, or archive them. Most services either do not offer source files or charge extra. We include them with every order because they belong to you.
Multilingual and Complex Manuscripts
Yes. Arabic (right-to-left), Chinese Simplified and Traditional, Japanese, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, and others. Specify the language in your order notes.
Yes. Complex technical content is a specialty. Contact us before ordering if your manuscript is highly technical so we can quote correctly.
No. The conversion work is yours entirely. We store your files securely during the project and delete them 30 days after delivery.
Comparing Services
Three main differences. First, price — our Kindle conversion starts at $30. BookBaby starts at $299 for the same service. Reedsy connects you with freelancers at varying rates. Second, what is included — source files, validation confirmation, and one revision pass are standard in every Ebookifi order. Most services charge extra for these or do not offer them. Third, turnaround — our standard is 72 hours. BookBaby takes 7–10 business days. Reedsy timelines vary by editor.
Tell us specifically what is wrong. We fix it. One revision pass is included with every order. If the issue is caused by our conversion — not a change to the original manuscript — we correct it at no charge. If after revision you are still not satisfied and the file genuinely fails platform validation, we refund your order in full. In eighteen years, we have issued eleven refunds. We prefer to fix things.
Yes. Contact us with a few pages of your manuscript and we will convert a short sample to show you the quality of the output. This is available for projects over $65. For standard orders, our portfolio page shows a selection of recent titles across different formats and genres.
