Our Commitment
Ebookifi is committed to making our website accessible to all users, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice input devices. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility.
We review our site regularly and work to identify and address accessibility barriers as they are found.
Current Accessibility Features
Our website is built to include the following accessibility features:
Keyboard navigation — all pages and interactive elements can be navigated using a keyboard without requiring a mouse.
Screen reader compatibility — page structure uses semantic HTML with correct heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3) so screen readers can navigate content accurately.
Alt text on images — all meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked appropriately so they are not read aloud unnecessarily.
Colour contrast — text and background colours are chosen to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
Resizable text — all text on the site can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
No time limits — no content on our site has automatic time limits that would prevent users from completing tasks at their own pace.
No flashing content — our site does not contain content that flashes more than three times per second, which could trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy.
Forms — all form fields have visible labels and accessible error messages. Required fields are clearly indicated.
Links — all links have descriptive text that makes their purpose clear without requiring surrounding context.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas where accessibility improvements are ongoing:
Some older PDF documents available for download may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are working to update these with tagged, structured alternatives.
Embedded third-party elements — including our payment processor (Stripe or PayPal) and newsletter provider (Mailpoet) — are subject to their own accessibility standards, which may vary.

Some pages on our site include content provided by third parties — including our payment processor, newsletter service, and any embedded social media content. We are not responsible for the accessibility of third-party content, but we choose our providers with accessibility in mind and raise accessibility issues with them when they are identified.
